Sharing and syndication

Curiate is meant to be the home of your work, not the only place it appears. Share links anywhere, cross-post to Bluesky, and let people follow you from their feed reader.

Everything public has a plain link you can paste anywhere:

What Link
Your profile curiate.com/app/profile/<username>
A post curiate.com/app/post/<id>
A show or collection curiate.com/app/collections/<id>
A piece inside a show curiate.com/app/collections/<id>?piece=<post id>
Your 3D room curiate.com/gallery/<username>

The Share action on a post, a show or a flyer opens your device's share sheet with the link, and on a desktop browser offers copy link, copy caption and save image. The QR icon on your profile shows a code for the profile link. The QR codes on printed labels carry the show-piece link so that a scan lands on the buy sheet.

Bluesky

Connect once, then choose per post whether to cross-post.

  1. Settings → Connected accounts → Bluesky.
  2. Enter your handle and an app password. Create the app password in Bluesky under Settings → Privacy and security → App passwords; do not use your main password. Curiate checks that the login works before saving it.
  3. Tap Connect. Disconnect removes it at any time.

When you create a post, switch on Also post to Bluesky. For an existing post, choose Post to Bluesky from the post menu; the same action retries a post that failed. The image is resized to fit Bluesky's 1 MB limit, the caption is trimmed to 300 characters, and a link back to the Curiate post is added. A chip on the post shows where it has been syndicated.

RSS

Every profile has a feed at curiate.com/v1/users/<username>/feed.xml, with each post's image attached. Paste it into any feed reader, or give it to people who prefer to follow that way. There is no button for it in the app yet; the address above is the whole feature.

Your work as a 3D room

With the Creator plan, your profile can be opened as a walkable gallery at curiate.com/gallery/<username>. Anyone can visit it in a browser without signing in.

  • Overview orbits the room; Walk in lets you move through it.
  • Labels shows a museum card next to each piece with its catalog number, title, year, medium and dimensions. Dimensions are marked "approx." when the piece has no measurements in the catalog and the size was guessed from its shape.
  • Clicking a piece opens a panel with its statement, a Sold mark if it has sold, and View on Curiate.
  • Standard view returns to the ordinary profile.

The room hangs your cataloged artworks first, then pinned selected works, then recent posts, up to the room's capacity. Open it yourself from the Gallery view icon on your own profile. See Plans.
