Posting your work

A post is a piece of work with a caption. It lives on your profile, appears in your followers' feeds, and can carry a price, a catalog number and a place in a show.

Create a post

  1. Tap Create and choose New post.
  2. Pick the kind of post: Text, Image, Video or Audio.
  3. Tap Select file to choose media. Audio can also be recorded in place with Record.
  4. Write a caption. Captions can be up to 10,000 characters.
  5. Optionally switch on Catalog this piece to issue a catalog number as soon as the post goes up. See The artwork catalog.
  6. If you have connected Bluesky, switch on Also post to Bluesky to cross-post. See Sharing.
  7. Post.

Accepted files

Kind Formats Notes
Image JPEG, PNG, WebP Shown at full quality on the post; resized copies are used in feeds.
Video MP4, WebM, MOV Converted after upload. A placeholder shows while that runs.
Audio MP3, M4A, WAV, FLAC

Uploads are limited to 100 MB per file and 20 posts per hour.

What you can do with a post

Open one of your posts and use the menu in the top bar:

  • Share opens your device's share sheet with a link to the post. On a desktop browser it offers copy caption, copy link, and save image instead.
  • Edit price sets a direct sale price, or clears it to take the piece off sale. See Selling directly.
  • Add to collection puts the piece in one of your collections, or submits it to a show you have joined.
  • Add to catalog issues a catalog number if the piece does not have one yet.
  • Print wall card makes a printable label with a QR code. See Printing labels.
  • Post to Bluesky pushes an existing post, and retries one that failed.
  • Delete removes the post.

Your profile

Your profile shows who you are, your selected works, your catalog, your collections and shows, and your posts. Tap the edit icon to change your avatar, username and bio.

Selected works. Long-press one of your own posts to pin it to the top of your profile. Up to six posts can be pinned. This is your storefront window, so use it for finished pieces you want people to see first.

Commission tiers. On your own profile, Add a tier describes a kind of commission you take: a title, a description, a price and a turnaround in days. Tiers are informational for now. Buyers cannot yet request a commission from inside the app, so put contact details in your bio.

Sharing your profile. The QR icon on your profile opens a code that points at your profile page, with a Copy button for the link.

Following and discovering

Feed shows posts from the people you follow, newest first. While you follow only a few people, the first page is topped up with art posts from Bluesky, marked with a View on Bluesky chip. Discover shows a random selection of work from people you do not follow. There is no text search yet; the way to find someone is a link, a QR code, or Discover.

Likes and comments work as you would expect. Comments are limited to 60 per hour.
