The jury
For a juried show, invite jurors and let them score. Scores and comments are advice for the curator, who still approves or rejects each piece.
Add jurors
Invite the juror like any other contributor and switch on the Juror role, or add the role later under Roles & commission. A juror does not have to submit work.
Scoring
Jurors open Review submissions on the show page. Each submission gets a score from 1 to 5 and an optional comment. Just score saves the number alone; Save saves both. The curator's queue can be sorted by average score.
If the show was created with Blind review, jurors see the work without the artist's name.
Pre-selection
By default jurors see every submission as it arrives. If you would rather make a first cut yourself, run the review in phases:
- Open. Submissions come in; jurors see nothing yet if you plan to pre-select. Tap Start pre-selection.
- Collecting. Mark pieces with Add to jury; marked pieces show In jury selection. Jurors see a notice that the curator is choosing pieces for the jury.
- Judging. Tap Send to jury. Jurors now see only the selected pieces and can score them. Edit selection reopens the cut if you need to add or remove pieces.
Only the curator can move the show between phases. Approving and rejecting works in every phase.
