Getting started
Curiate is one account that works on your iPhone and in any web browser. This page covers signing up, signing in, and where things live in the app.
Get the app
- iPhone: download Curiate from the App Store.
- Web: open curiate.com/app in any modern browser. On a laptop or desktop the app uses a wider layout with a navigation rail; some curator tools, like the show console, are only shown at that width.
Push notifications and the app icon badge are iPhone-only. Everything else works the same on both.
Create an account
- Open the app and tap Get started, or go to curiate.com/app/signup.
- Choose a username, enter your email, and, during early access, the invite code you were given. Tap Continue.
- Check your email and open the verification link. If it does not arrive, use Resend verification email.
- Create a password.
- Read and accept the terms.
Your username is how people find you: your profile lives at curiate.com/app/profile/your-username. Until your email is verified you can browse but not post, comment, follow or like. A banner at the top of the feed offers Resend and Check again.
Sign in
Use your email and password. If you have forgotten the password, tap Forgot password? and follow the reset link that arrives by email.
Several usernames, one login
One email and password can own more than one username, for example a personal account and a gallery account. Tap the account avatar in the top bar (Switch account) and choose Add account. Switching between them takes one tap. On the web, the active account is shared by every tab in that browser.
Finding your way around
On a phone the bottom bar has five tabs:

| Create | New post, or new collection or show. |
| Profile | Your profile and settings. |
The bell in the top bar opens your notifications inbox. On a wide screen the same items sit in a rail on the left, with Notifications as its own entry.
Settings
Open your profile and tap the settings icon. From there:
- Show invites: invitations to shows waiting for an answer. See Joining a show.
- Payouts: connect the account that receives money when you sell. See Selling directly.
- Plan: your current plan. See Plans.
- Connected accounts: link Bluesky for cross-posting. See Sharing.
- Blocked users: people you have blocked, with Unblock.
- Delete account: removes the active username, its posts, comments and follows. This cannot be undone. If you have several usernames under one login, only the active one is deleted.
The version number at the bottom of Settings can be tapped to copy it, which helps when you write to support.
Staying safe
Every post and comment has a Report action, and every profile has Block. Blocking is two-way: neither of you sees the other's work. Text is also checked automatically against the community guidelines before it is posted.
